[OOC] Power Description
Should your character ever find themselves facing off against Grell, please read this so you can better understand how he fights. Also, due to his main power, I'll need to discuss with you what sort of things Grell would be able to see when/if he were to cut your character or make them bleed in any way.
Death gods in the Kuroshitsuji Universe are a little different from others. We don't see a lot of them, but it's evident that they rarely appear in the real world. They're responsible for the "life flashing before your eyes" phenomenon, which is caused by their one biggest power - the Cinematic Record. Death gods are dispatched from a central headquarters and are the middlemen between God and Humans, dealing death from a prewritten list handed down to them.
Grell, however, enjoys going off the list if someone he likes asks him to do so. He kills as Jack the Ripper for Madam Red, because he fell in love with the way she looked when bathed in blood and because they shared the pain of being unable to bear children.
A breakdown of Grell's powers as revealed in the manga shows that he's able to pull his customized deathscythe (a red-handled chainsaw capable of cutting through just about anything) from out of nowhere, he's strong, fast, capable of withstanding a good beating, and is quite capable of moving around buildings and jumping off them with no problems. His main power, however, is Cinematic Record.
Cinematic Record is what happens when his chainsaw cuts into someone and causes them to bleed even a small amount. The blood becomes film and plays a person's memories - good and bad - before their eyes and before Grell's eyes. The most devastating effect of his power besides the obvious fact that the victim has been slashed with a chainsaw, is that they relive their lives, especially the bad parts since that's what Grell is most interested in.
