I do hope you're all ready for that test I've prepared in Home Economics class, darlings. If you're not?

Well.

Good. Be sure to check the classroom pantry so that everything is there when you need it for the test.

Find a recipe you can make within the class period. You'll have two hours. If you need to do preparation ahead of time - come in and do it now.

As you can be? Oh, Virginia, you need to be as ready as you need to be. A lady must be ready for any and every situation.

You know, I find honey works far better than vinegar when it comes to getting good performance out of the students.

And I find honey spoils the bees into being lazy. Your point?

Funny, I've never had that problem with my students.

And I have no trouble with mine. It seems the fear factor is working quite well.

"Failure" is such a negative word, Mr. Sutcliff...

Ms. Sutcliff, if you please.

And yes, but it merely reinforces that whole messy business where failing my class is a negative thing.
