Chapter 1  Chapter 2

“Your ex? Why is your ex here?” Henry stares at JiYong with a blank face.
“Long story I will give it to you afterwards” JiYong is suddenly up and fixing his outfit and hair.
“Afterwards? What is happening?” JiYong shushes him before pulling him of the bed and almost throws him into his walk in closet.
“Stay here and don’t say a word” With that JiYong closed the door and left Henry in the dark with an extremely painful erection. Henry was relieved that at least the closet was big so he could breathe. He put his ear on the door to try and listening in on what was going on.
He could hear JiYong opening the door.
“Kangbear! I didn’t know you got out of the army” Kangbear? He can’t be serious, that is the lamest nickname ever, Henry thought. He almost snorted, but kept it in. When he leaned closer to get better access for his ear, his hand brushed his erection and he let out a small moan. This was torture.

JiYong put on his best smile as he opened the door.
“Kangbear! I didn’t know you got out of the army” KangIn, his last boyfriend had gone to the army two years ago and their break wasn’t the best.

“I’ve enlisted for the army. I’ll be going in two months. I want you to wait for me” KangIn gave JiYong a hopeful look and JiYong felt his heart break a million times over.
“Why did you enlist?” JiYong needed to know why. Even their long relationship wouldn’t be able to make it through. At least JiYong wouldn’t be able to.
“After my hit and run, also because of my drinking problem. I need to clear things out and get myself straight. That’s also why I won’t contact you and I want you to do the same. If you contact me I won’t be able to clear my head.” KangIn held such a sorrowful tone. He had been having a drinking problem, and had under influence run someone over while driving. He had been struck by panic and fled in his panicked state. JiYong remember him coming home completely out of it and he had been sprouting nonsense. In the end JiYong had taken him down to the station where he turned himself in. KangIn slumped into a depression after that and his drinking got worse. Whenever KangIn was sober he rejected JiYong. He refused to let him touch him, pushing him away if he got near. JiYong’s heart tried to reason it with that KangIn was afraid of pulling him down in the deep nothingness. JiYong stayed, he couldn’t leave KangIn like that. KangIn never laid a hand on JiYong, but he had more than once been involved in a bar fight and had come home with bruises bragging about how he won the fight. JiYong had treated his wounds and listened to him while feeling his heart sink deeper into the darkness.
“I can’t I just can’t. I love you, but I don’t love you enough to be able to wait.” The tears streamed down his cheeks as he saw KangIn’s heart crumble beneath his words. They were each other’s high school love and had been together for four years, but JiYong was still young and his heart wouldn’t be able let him live freely if he waited.
“I won’t believe you; you’ll wait for me I know you will. I refuse to listen to those words.” With that KangIn walked out of JiYong’s life.

He had walked out of his life for two years, but now he was back.
“My little Yongkitty (At this point Henry was almost puking at the cheesy nicknames)” KangIn spread out his arms and with that charming smile he embraced JiYong. JiYong stood completely still. KangIn pulled back and kissed JiYong and the only thing JiYong could think of was Henry in the closet. He needed to get this over. He pulled away from KangIn that suddenly looked surprised.
“Kangbear, no not Kangbear. KangIn, Youngwoon. There’s no easy way to say this, I just have to do it.” He manned himself up and cleared his voice.
“I cannot get back together with you; I don’t love you anymore. I told you when you left that I wouldn’t wait for you. I’m so sorry.” JiYong couldn’t stand looking into the teary eyes of his once beloved, so he choose to look at his feet instead.
“Does that mean that you have found a new boyfriend?” KangIn’s voice cracked at the word boyfriend.
“You know I really loved you and every day during these two years have I have had you in my thoughts.”
JiYong let his tears flow. This was breaking his heart all over again. It had taken him a great time getting over KangIn and he could still feel the old feelings of love towards the older man.
“For a great amount of time you were in mine too, but I got over it. I had too, or I wouldn’t be able to keep a simple life. I had to deal with a lot of sorrow for so long”

Henry had given up on trying listening to the words as they got more and more of a whisper, but he was sure of one thing. JiYong was crying and he did not like that. JiYong had locked the door when he shut him in; just to be sure that Henry didn’t come out in a very inappropriate time. Like when KangIn had kissed JiYong. At that point Henry had smoke coming out from his ears, nose and mouth. I must look like the bull in the cartoons. Had he thought. That calmed him a bit, especially when he saw JiYong pulling away. Now, with JiYong crying, he was ready to blow the door. He took several steps back and when he felt he had enough place to run on, he started running. Henry felt his foot catch onto something and before he knew it he was stuck in a pile of clothes which with high probability wasn’t a pile before Henry landed there.

JiYong nodded he didn’t know what to say. He decided that Henry shouldn’t be hidden; he shouldn’t hid him as if Henry was the intruder, when it clearly was KangIn.
“Wait here two seconds.” JiYong had moved his bedroom to behind a curtain in the living room so he could use the other room as a closet. His apartment wasn’t the biggest. It had two rooms, a kitchen and a bathroom. So when he heard KangIn he couldn’t figure out anything else than the closet to put Henry. He could feel KangIn’s eyes on his back as he with confident steps walked to the closet. He fished up the key from his pocket and opened the door. He had expected Henry to be standing right up front; instead he was met with air.
“Henry?” When he didn’t get an answer did he turn on the light and saw a pile of his most expensive suits. A pile? JiYong frowned. He walked over to the pile, which started moving slightly. He lifted the shirt on top and Henry’s flushed head came in sight.
“Of course it had to be the most expensive in the whole closet.” JiYong sighs and Henry smiles sheepishly up at him.
“What are you waiting for get up, you don’t have to wrinkle my babies more now.” Henry looks lost up at JiYong.
“I’m stuck” He tries to smile, but it fades away quickly when he sees JiYong roll his eyes. JiYong starts to untangle Henry and the clothes, while doing so he almost forgot KangIn still standing in the doorway. It wasn’t until Henry froze and stopped smiling that he remembered KangIn.
“I can see that I disturbed something coming here.” For someone usually that tough looking, KangIn looked like a little child while crying. JiYong felt his heart take a stab. He got up and left Henry almost untangled. He hugged KangIn and held him to his chest (a kind of awkward position, Henry noted), he hummed low in his throat to calm him down. When KangIn’s sobbing slowed down JiYong took him out and dried KangIn’s tears away.
“I’m so sorry, but this is whom I’m with now. If you can take it, I wouldn’t mind still being friends but I think it would be difficult.” KangIn nodded. He carefully removed JiYong’s hands from him, grabbed his stuff and headed for the door.
“I understand, have a great life JiYong and you on the floor, treasure him. Treasure him more than me, he deserves that” And with that KangIn walked out the door and JiYong’s life for a second time. But this time the gap he left wasn’t as big and this time he wouldn’t suddenly return. KangIn was now nothing more than a sometimes painful, sometimes joyful memory.
“Now let’s get you out of this mess and afterwards we can bond over ironing them” JiYong let out a small smile before going back to untangling Henry.
