So you know how everyone has been freakin out about midterms lately. Hehe well do you wanna know what midterms are like here at art school? I know you don't want to know, but I'm going to tell you anyway. First of all I didn't even have a midterm in my drawing class, which only leave midterms for two other classes, because in case you forgot, I only have 3 classes :-p Well anyway my midterm for my 2-D Design class was a test. A test that was only 1 page long, with 20 questions it, the questions were fill in the blank vocab questions, and the bonus question (oh you're gonna love this) was spell my (the professor's) first and last name correctly. Needless to say I got a 100% on that.
My other midterm was for English. It had 7 questions on it, some including what are my (the professor's) office hours and where is my office located, and there was an essay that only had to be 350 words (a 1 1/2 pages). The two essay topics were great to; you could either write about...well here was her scenario, "Johnny and sally got really drunk last night and woke up the next mourning in bed with each other with reasonable evidence that something may have happened the pervious night. Now Sally is mad at Johnny and won't talk to him because she thinks he took advantage of her, write an essay where you are mediating a conversation between the two because they are your good friends and you don't want them to continue to fight."
Yeah...lol and the second essay choice, the one I chose, was "It's a _______ thing, you wouldn't understand." We had to fill in the blank, so I filled it in with the word "Scene" and wrote an entire essay on Scene kids and about boys wearing tight girl pants while listening to screamo. Not only did I get an A on the paper but I got an A on the midterm too. Do you want to know my grade in English as of right now? 100% So for all you kids that had to up with Hamill...haha sucks to be you, who says you need AP English lol.
Oh, and yesterday in English we played Duck Duck Goose. If you got goose you had to read your free writing paper to the class. The teacher played too.
I love art school.
Hmm, it's 88 degrees outside, with a nice slight breeze, I guess I should go about enjoying my 3 day weekend, because, you know, there's no class on Friday's here. So how's the weather back home? :-D
