It's that time of the year when it thankfully gets cooler, i look forward to seasons changing and also AIDSWalk. In talking with a friend the other day i began to wonder when I started this. I know it was before I lost my friend and coworker Rusty from the WBSS. The first t-shirt i remember having is one from 1994. I wish i had that still. So this would be at least the 14th year.
In mentioning it to people, you hear all their stories about how HIV / AIDS has affected them. Cousins and uncles and fathers all lost to or sick with the disease. It's still a big thing but people seem to have gotten so lax with it all. Ads on Manhunt want bareback fucking, swallowing loads and other dangerous activities. I don't get it. I'm still so freaked out from dodging the bullet with Jack that my interest in sex has waned a lot. I'm still horny but finding someone seems so tricky. Why do i share.
Anyway, if you have any space money to donate I would really appreciate it. This year I'm walking with my company, Northrop Grumman, but still have a goal of $1,000. It's high but in the grand scheme of things it's not much. I'm not getting a few lattes so I can give more money.
