(no subject)
Hey people, how is everyone? I know you all are so glad that exams are over and done and now no more school for a while. I hope everyobody did well although from reading your updates, it doesn't look like you did.
Anyway, a belated happy birthday and a thank you to Kristen fo wishing me a happy b-day as well, mine was last Saturday. I turned 25. 25! In shouldn't be that age, I certainly don't feel like it. Anyway, it was the best birthday i have ever had. I called my dad in Nashville to see if he wpuld come down to go out to eat with my mom and I. Without any hesitation, he said yes. It was awesome! We all went out to a movie and dinner, and then he surprised me by giving me a 100 bucks. I didn't ask for that he just did it. Then what happened next was truly amazing and an answer to prayers my mom and i had been praying for years. They dropped me off back at our house cause they wanted to have a cup of coffee, or so they said. When they got back, he told me to go to his car and look in the front seat and there it was. the one thing I had wanted all year for either birhtday or Christmas, a digital camera.
I was stunned. Then he hugged me and told me he was sorry for not being there all of these years and that this was a little step to try and make reparations.
He didn;t have to do that because I do love him, he is my dad, wehen other people would prbabaly hate him, I don't. He is a good man, I mean he is going to pay for school come a few weeks. But anyway, this birthday was what it should have been, a family being together as well as Christmas. I was with my mom AND my dad. And no presnet I could ever get could top that.
