Here are the long overdue photos that i meant to post up last week but just couldn't find the time!
Last saturday we celebrated Joel's birthday at Macdonald's. That was my third macdonalds meal last week. So horrible! But we sure had a blast, didn't we? I love the party hats, the cake and the presents. Haha, oh and the balloons too! Did i also mention that Joel is 28 this year? ROFL!
Yeah, i was shocked when i heard we are playing games!
Who wants balloons?
Birthday boy! Erm, man! He must be thinking what is this!!
Kids at heart (:
Birthday cake! Surprisingly good!
Once more, Happy birthday Joel!
On sunday evening, i finally met up with karen dearest after what seemed like donkey years! We hanged around Esplanade, never running out of conversation. Although i dread the busy week ahead knowing that there are still work left to be done, i really enjoyed the evening with you babe! We caught a musical - Little Shop of Horrors. It turned out that karen's mom has free tickets to the show as her company is one of the sponsors. We even got front row seats, third row from the front to be exact! We were so close to the actors / actresses, it was soooooo exciting! And i must say, i'm really impressed! I never thought local stars could sing / dance / act so well! I even suspect that it was pre-recorded but later realised that they really are singing live because some time after the interval, the lead actor's mic had some problems and still, without the mic, he sang loud and clear. -claps and kow tow- He didn't panic and was very professional. He carried on in his role, without a trace of anxiety on his face! Whew!
We are one mind, two bodies!
The carnivore plant, super cute!
Thank you sister! This bond we share is truly amazing! I thank God for having you be such a big part of my life. Though we hardly get to meet up, we still read each other's minds like old times! You have given me so much in this friendship, and showed me what it is like to be a true friend. Love you babe! Whatever that is to come, i'm sure we can go through it hand in hand with God's love! <3
