There are many blog-worthy events that happened the past couple of days, but I haven't got the time to pen down my thoughts. In fact, I was so tired last night, I overslept and woke up late for work. Better still, my alarm rang, and I went back to sleep, thinking that it was a saturday, when it's a friday!
On the 29th, Sherman came by my office to pick me up after work. I was pleasantly surprised to see this, sitting prettily on the car seat waiting for me.
My first sunflower :)
I was so hungry, I felt ready to eat a cow!
We went to Girraffe for dinner, but there's honestly nothing to rave about except for it's impressive decor. My burger tasted average, and Sherman's pasta was merely edible. The mushroom soup was pretty good though, my clam chowder tasted like a huge bowl of cream. Our dessert - warm chocolate lava cake, was too dry and the ice cream was half melted when it was served. Needless to say, we were both pretty disappointed.
Now, a few weeks ago, I woke up on the wrong side of the bed, and felt extremely irritated. In my very sleepy state, I accidentally pulled my necklace a little too hard, and it broke. It was an anniversary gift from Sherman so I was very upset when I broke it. The ends of the chain got stuck in the pendant so I couldn't even use the pendant. I felt really guilty when I told Sherman about it, but he didn't give me a hard time. What is it with me and jewellery, why do I always break it, one way or another?!
So on the 29th, Sherman prepared a really cool surprise for me but I had to go and spoil it all by taking a peep into his bag when he was out buying tau huay and I saw my present. Sherman had planned to hide the gift in my room, but now that I found out, there's not much of a surprise. Still, I really like the new necklace. Thanks, dear!
Today, I joined 1724 for dinner to bid farewell to the boys who are going to NS soon. We ordered for 22 people (cos that was the estimated number of people who's coming) but due to some reason or another, only 14 turned up. But 1724 being the true blue foodie that we are, we finished almost all of it. I could hardly walk straight after that. Burp!
Round two, drinks with waiaung and gang. I can't believe it's only going to be days left before she leaves us for the hot ang moh guys in SF (sorry, brett!) and since it's her birthday, Wens planned a surprise birthday-cum-farewell party for her at Timbre. Thanks to Wens, we managed to have a grand ball of a time, although waiaung is stoning away half the time, that girl should stay away from acohol, really! Happy 20th Birthday, wai aww!! Hahaha!
Another day before it's my turn to face the big two. Let me enjoy my last few hours of teenhood, please!
