I used to think that babies are really noisy but it seems like our friends' offsprings are little quiet ones. ;)
We visited F and V at the hospital in the late afternoon, right after church. F just gave birth to a beautiful baby named Leah, just two days ago. When we reached, Leah was quietly sleeping in her cot, oblivious to the chitter chatter around her. She continued sleeping even though we took turns to carry her, and she even slept through her feeding time! She looks so much like F, it's pretty amazing. V recounted the whole process of the delivery, and all I can say is, ouch that must have really really hurt. The proud parents look so very happy though! I think the next time I meet Leah will be at her one month's party. Sherman and I got her a pretty set of clothes with a matching pair of booties. It is all very pink and very cute, indeed. Too bad I forgot to snap a picture!
After that, we rushed off to another of Sherman's good friend's house. C and P are having a one month party for their cute little boy - Elson. Again, the baby slept like, well, a baby, not giving much care about the party going on outside. The only time he woke was during his feeding, afterwhich he went back to his sleep without much of a hussle. Boys being boys, Sherman got C a very practical gift - diapers. I think C is very pleased. :p
C said Elson has really strong powerful kicks, and the boys were talking about how Elson will be playing for Man U in a few years. Sigh, boys.
Wow, I can't believe we actually spent the entire day visiting babies! And because it's been a while since we last took a picture together... :)
Good night, folks!
