I just watched the X-Men Origins: Wolverine Trailer
I am not happy. I am so upset that I may not pay to see the movie. Seriously. I'm not just being stuck up, rebellious or just terrible annoying -- I am truly dismayed.
Why? Because Gambit doesn't look like Gambit. I KNOW THE MOVIE IS ABOUT WOLVERINE, but Gambit is an amazing and important character no matter how you look at it; no matter how briefly he appears! Hopefully, his appearance doesn't remain the same because I personally couldn't handle it. It's the sort of disgust that makes you wrinkle your nose and fight back vomit. AND, while the trailer I saw wasn't the beset, I fear that his eyes are not the proper color. Not only does his limp hair bother the bloody hell out of me, it's the possibility that his eyes are not black and red -- IS GAMBIT NOT KNOWN FOR HIS DEMON EYES?
Taylor Kitsch could be a brilliant Gambit. Key word: could. I have a horrible feeling that he will unfortunately make a terrible Gambit, and I will not lie when I say I spazzed like a psychotic mad woman when he said, "It was a blessing to go in and create my take on [Gambit]." You do not take a legendary character like Gambit and create you own take on him; YOU SHOULD BE BLESSED TO PLAY STAN LEE'S TAKE ON GAMBIT!!! D : < STAN LEE'S CREATION!

ANYWAYS, other than that little Gambit mishap, everything looked absolutely amazing, but I don't know how long I can stay in love with the movie if Gambit turns into a mess.
