I am posting again to irritate you.
So, just yesterday I was browsing FanFiction.net as I often due when extremely bored. Fan fiction is really amazing, isn't it? It keeps alive the shows that you didn't want to end, or the movies that never got a sequel. It lets you immerse yourself in a world that would exist if your favorite characters hadn't died. Say what you will about fan fiction, but it will always exist because of people like me. People who thrive on the story that never was or never would have been.
Anyways, as I said... I was browsing FanFiction.net when I realized I had never read one single fic for A Knight's Tale; one of my favorite movies that I watch often - if not a little obsessively. (One thing you should know about me is that I become obsessed very easily; I immerse myself in the things that I like and I practically live and breathe only those things. Alas, I have several obsessions that make my life appear a little more rounded than it actually is.)
Obviously, I immediately went on the hunt for a lovely fic that would capture my interest. I did find a few...but one thing I learned is that I'm more interested about Adhemar (the count that tried so villainously to ruin Sir William Thatcher) than any other character. Once again I have fallen for a villain - a villain that could have possibly been a better person at one point in his life before that person was harshly and thoroughly shoved from his being. OH YES, my dear Adhemar is but a character the masses know too little about.
I fear I may one day write a Adhemar fic, and I will destroy your very opinion of him. You'll regret ever disliking him; this I am sure.
