Lost, the next day

Well, another day, another revelation. So, Hurley was institutionalized, after a breakdown following an accident (a deck built for 8, holding 23, and something rises from the bottom of a dark scottish lake), and developed a magical friend, while he was being psychoanalyzed by Senator Kelly. Cute reveal at the end shows that Libby was in the same institution. Of course, I probably should have paid closer attention to the tvs on in the background, but that was laziness on my part.

Good episode, although I'm sure people who specialize in body issues will have something to say about it ("Hurley is a self loathing fat man, and that's wrong, blah blah blah").

There seems to be disagreement over what is going on among my co-workers who enjoy the show and myself that came to the surface today. It appears there's two ways to look at the metashow: It's either Religious/Spiritual or SF/Scientific. Are they trapped in purgatory/hell, or is it all a strange scientific (or even supernatural) experiment gone awry, that may not even involve them?

And then I went "Jesus, it's back to the science vs faith argument".

Amusing little thing, in any case. I've also realized I enjoy watching the progress of the story. Is Charlie's helping Ecko with the project contrition for his destroying his original stand of trees?

Apparently "See you in the next life" has become a common line: Locke's Father said it before the surgery, Desmond said it to Jack (dunno if on the island or not), Nadia wrote it on her picture for Sayid, and Figment said it to Hurley last night.

Crap. Another point comes to my mind, but it's gone. Ah, well.

And, for the gamers, a review of CP 3.0.
