Okay. So, after "finding" a copy of the latest episode & watching it, thoughts.
General Iroh? Don't mind if I do!
I haven't gotten book two of The Promise yet, but I'm gonna assume Aang & Zuko settled their differences and that we don't get a swerve when the united alliance fleet arrives. I'll give 80% odds on that.
As for Aman. Assuming he isn't in fact my boss (cheap joke? Don't mind if I do!) I'm assuming he's one of Aang's other kids. Either A) abducted by an enemy and educated in the ways of soulbending (which I will assume was the alternate ability of Airbenders, not just a skill possessed by the Avatar). Anger (rejection by father, etc) makes him bitter towards all benders, hence the Equalist society. We'll see how Lance Henriksen reacts to finding out his boss is a bender.
So, yeah. Fun stuff. Can't wait for the climax.
