As some of you know, I had an issue with some of my class work that derived from the fact that people are bad and working with them is punishing.
Today, I got confirmation from my prof that all was, in fact, okay. This puts me within spitting distance of passing the course; so much so in fact that the final assignment could probably consist of 20 pages of Lorem Ipsum, a nice cover and a bibliography and I'd pass the course.
We did not hand in 20 pages of Lorem Ipsum, btw. And I'm hoping to do a bit more than pass.
Needless to say, that was a load off my mind.
I also got a co-op, which was another load on my mind.
I interviewed with a government office but did not got the position. However, the guy I interviewed with was apparently impressed enough that when another guy was looking for a co-op, my resume was passed along. A short phone interview later (which came out of the blue; I wasn't expecting it, and was probably a bit off my guard) and I'm now waiting for the offer letter.
Between the two of them, I'm pretty pumped up today. In fact, I could probably punch my way through a wall. Metaphorically speaking. Well, literally, if it was a very thin wall (like, bad drywall) and I didn't mind hurting my hands a lot.
