So Cynra & I took in
The Sound of Music at the
Princess of Wales last night (Janna night, if anyone at home is following along, and how unfair is it that she don't get her own Wiki entry?). The show is winding down, with the last show on Jan 3.
Plans had been to grab dinner at the entertainment district
Elephant and Castle beforehand, but apparently that conflicted with everyone else having the same plans.
We ended up going to Kama for dinner. My relationship with Kama is a tumultuous one, since it's a buffet and I have no self-control, and last night was no exception. The butter chicken was nice and tasty, so I had a little bit too much. Theresa gave me a peppermint pill, which is supposed to help digestion. I'm not sure how much of a job it did on that, but whenever I belched I tasted peppermint.
The play was enjoyable. I'm sure I'm alone in finding it a bit oddly paced. Uncle Max seems to be a bit of an odd character, and the Captain's first fiancee seems to have been a paper thin obstacle to the great love story.
Also, you apparently can't walk to Switzerland from that part of Germany.
Overall, though, good performances, and cute kids, so no problems there. More Nazis than I was expecting, though.
