Karaoke, Kook of the Month, Terror in Boston, and The Adjectevialest thing in Sports Entertainment

Okay, so on Saturday Cynra & Theresa took redeem147 to Karaoke for her birthday; I met up with them after the game finished. The KJ was still good if a little grumpy (although, yes, more nudity and highly inappropriate photos were involved, God bless him). Pierre actually got up on stage in bargain store bling and danced behind me while I was doing my song, which actually prompted me to leave the stage early (a line or two early).

So, yes, kinra? The guy you mentioned? That's Pierre Savoie. What a tiny world.

Anyway, I told you that story so I could tell you this one.

Anyway, I performed wearing my nGo T-shirt, and afterwards a guy came up to say he enjoyed my bit, ask if I was wearing a wrestling t-shirt (and, really, what's the answer to that? "Yes, well, maybe, it's more a shirt for a group I'm in that consists of wrestling fans and yadda, yadda, yadda"), and give me a ticket to a Wrestlemania showing at a bar this weekend.

That's kind of cool, I thought. He mentioned that they'd have Brutus Beefcake there. I tried to keep from wincing. Beefcake's had some hard times recently. It appears he has gone back to wrestling on the indy circuit, and re-teamed up with Greg Valentine, at least once.

Still, after his incident with the Boston cops (an errant package of cocaine caused an anthrax scare, making him the greatest threat to Boston's security until the Mooninites), it's hard to take him entirely seriously.

They also have Jason Sensation and Dannie Riel. He's amusing, I guess, and she's hot, but that does me no good, really.

I'm still waiting to hear from luciancarter and noizangel as to Wrestlemania plans at this time, but this looks like a good backup plan.
