I am so sick of people thinking I know nothing. It happened again at work today. A lady came in wanting to buy a cage. She said it was for her Hahn's macaw and asked if I had any black cages for their size. I didn't think the cages she was looking at came any blacker than the gray color she was looking at, but I asked Katie (who also works there) anyway, just to be sure. I was right. So anyway, Katie went off and helped that lady for a while.
Later on, Katie was doing something else and that lady looked like she had a question, but was unsure whether to ask me. So finally she comes up and asks me.
"Where do you get your birds?"
I told her, "We get them from different breeders around town--"
"Where do you get your birds?"
She had just completely cut me off to ask Katie the same question because she had just walked by. EXACTLY the same question. And Katie gives her almost word for word the same answer.
I was just thinking "What the FUCK??!!" I OBVIOUSLY appear so retarded to that lady that even though I told her the answer I must be freaking insane. For a once, I wish people would treat me as if I know something. I'm not retarded. HONEST.
