actually did something of interest today
Went to Colombia, to see my brother (Shannon) and my sister-in-law (Penny) and my nephew (Elias, aged 17 months). Shannon had a shooting competition. It was a state wide police shooting competition, as I was told it was the state championships. Shannon said he didn't do well, but he won his class (unranked) and for his efforts he got a free case of ammo. I think it was something like a 1,000 rounds. I'm not too sure. It was neat playing around with his stuff. He bought, or well Penny bought him a revolver for christmas. I'm not sure but I think it is a .38. I do know it has a elongated barrel so it is some sort of competition weapon. Easy to clean, and disassemble. Wonderful little gun. I do enjoy it alot.
While Shannon and Stu were off doing the shooting compition, Mom, Penny, Zoey, Elias, and I went to the Colombia Zoo. I had forgotten how much I love zoo's and hate large crowds. People should want to get the fuck outta my way. I just want to see the fucking bears. I don't need some little douchebag running into me. Fucking people. The animals were pretty neat though. I enjoyed seeing them, and reading a little about them and their habitats. I really enjoyed the reptile house and aquarium. They had a deep sea exhibit, off in some corner somewhere, so I looked at all the deep sea fish we caught while on the shrimp boat. It was kinda weird seeing fish I used to eat all the time in a zoo. All in all, it was a good day. Elias is getting bigger, stronger, and cuter. He now has a bit of hair. Zoey was pretty good all day too. She can be a good kid just not when she is with her parents. Oh well I hope the pictures turn out alright.
