What I Can Make: I'm new to creating (hoping to improve by doing trades) but I can do Sims, SC4 terrains, simple retextures (paintings, walls and floors, for example), texture replacements (if anyone wants werefoxes in their game for whatever reason - done!), 4-, 8- and 12-PT sets if anyone's interested, and I did once make an invisible recolour ( Read more... )

I can trade with you

What I can make: I can make you some lots. Is your style similar to this simmer: http://thenuidyahub.blogspot.com/?m=0 ? What kind of community lots are you looking for?
My general style: maxis match, my blog http://applevalleyblogs.blogspot.com/?m=0
What I would like to receive: a sc4 terrain of four interconnected islands with one island including the layouts from MTS Ambers Journey "Ellis Island", one island with the layout of Ambers Journey "Golden Bay Island" http://www.modthesims.info/download.php?t=218435 and an island as clicknpycho The Island http://www.modthesims.info/download.php?t=229835 Basically I'm looking for my current hood terrain spilt into the four sections indicated from this post http://applevalleyblogs.blogspot.com/2009/11/combined-terrain-part-1-building.html?m=1 but with each section a bit bigger and with a few more roads, yet indicative of each section's style.

That's just my style... because I'm that Simmer! Great to see you here, Starr!

Trade accepted, I'll get started on that terrain once I'm done typing. As for lots, I'm looking for things that would make my hood feel more like a community than a bunch of separate lots... my Nuidya don't have shops or anything like that, but they need places to celebrate important events, hold council meetings and other gatherings, and just plain goof around and have fun. I'd also like to have a small school-type lot where the elders can pass on skills and oral history to younger Sims (and give the younger Sims' parents a break!). So a couple of things like that would be great.

I made five tribal lots for your hood. They are a bit more than the "roofs on sticks" currently, but they are not modern brick and motar. I used the same flooring and walls to make things more cohesive and seamless in your hood. There is minimal CC, I think there are 3 custom items (one is a rug fix, a wooden swing that was downloaded from EA and a buyable career reward).

The Hall of Importance

A 2x3 lot with a place for elder meetings, weddings and celebrations

The Festival Grounds

A 2x3 lot with a place for relaxing and celebrating festivals

The Elder's Training Lodge

A 2x3 lot with a place where the children are trained by elders in the skills of life

Th Reflection Grounds

A 2x2 lot with a place to reflect and meditate

Finally, the Yurts

A 2x3 lot with a place for new sims and visitors. I left this a community lot so that you can zone it as a hotel or an apartment, whichever fits best.

A modern amenities (like the community lot phones) are hidden from view so that it doesn't interfere with photos :)

Starr, thank you! I look forward to using these in my game.

Here's my gift to you:

This SC4 terrain - I recommend using a camera mod. Four small islands on one map take up a surprising amount of space.

It took a few days to get the right layout and make the bridges behave, but I hope I've got it right for you.

As a bonus, I've included my Sims' wedding present to S'Ahmisa & Rashid of Apple Valley.

A Min Ra cat, revered by my Sims - so they don't send these kitties to SimNation for just anyone. It's a sign of great respect.

Since this is my first time sharing my creations, I hope you like them.

Awesome, thank you. I need to research how to add the cat to my game, I've never downloaded an animal before. The terrain looks amazing and since Rashid and S'Ahmisa are used to kitties growing up, they will love the Min Ra :)
