Most good movies still aren't available to download legally.
But if you want to rent some, or watch on TV:

Eraserhead
A Clockwork Orange
A Boy and His Dog
(and whatever I said on my Facebook)

I'm not really a movie person, because I have way too short of an attention span for television-related things. But when I had really bad insomnia, the only way I could sleep was to put Fight Club on repeat, it's my all-time favorite movie.

Other ones I can watch over and over are, 28 Days Later, Domino, Haggard, White Oleander, and Clerks 2.

If you're in the mood for bizarre:
all Todd Solondz and John Waters films

Anarcha feminist films:
Born in Flames, Libertarias, Itty Bitty Titty Committee, Don't Need You: the Herstory of Riot Grrrl

this is so funny because I just bought the Ghost World comic off Amazon.

- Amelie
- But I'm a Cheerleader
- Juno
- Wristcutters: A Love Story
- Factory Girl
- Eternal Sunshine/Science of Sleep
- Fight Club
- CHILDREN OF MEN
- El Laberinto Del Fauno (Pan's Labyrinth)
- Hairspray (see the original first, the newer one was alright but John Travolta killed Divine's role)
- Welcome To The Doll House
- A Clockwork Orange
- Trainspotting
- Bladerunner
