something that has been bugging me....
Maybe this is insensitive to the good Jewish people, but I cannot understand why so many people are so adament about only dating other Jews. Yes, I understand that it's important to keep the Jewish people alive because it is a small population, I really do. I can respect that in theory. But in practice, to break up with a girlfriend because she's not Jewish, to have forums called "Why Date Jewish?", and to advertise that you're a "good Jewish boy looking for good Jewish girl to bring home to Mom-- goyim need not apply" just seems racist. I mean, I'm not going to go around advertising that I'm looking for a boyfriend --- but no black guys, please. How is this any different? It's unsettling to know that I'm friends with guys who would never even consider dating me-- simply because I'm not Jewish. And they make that perfectly well known. How is that okay?
