She watches them kiss and her heart drops to her feet. It's not like it's the first time. Girls like Serena and Jenny have always been in her way. She hits herself because she should have known. Girls like her are far too forgiving. Girls like her don't get the guy. Girls like her wear their heart on their sleeve and it gets broken. Girls like her fight and struggle and always end up inches away from where they want to be. And as she walks away she wills herself not to cry because girls like her just don't win.
