Mar 11, 2012 21:27

At this point, we have had one writer drop out and twenty writers have sent in their drafts, so overall things are looking good. With that in mind, it is finally time for you all to claim posting dates ( Read more... )

(and this would be where I manage to confuse you more)

This for your art, or for one of your two fics? (I ask so I know as well ;) )

Yes, okay. Okay. I guess I just wait and see when my artists post their choices? This is sort of an issue considering my current predicament. I will do my best to stay on top of this post!

They should get in contact with you to discuss dates before claiming - so hopefully you should be able to get a date that works for you all - any issues, let me know and I can act as mediator ;)

Reluctantly confirming these two dates.

If you have an alternate date you'd prefer that is not 6 April, that's fine. 6 April is totally out for me, as it is my mastery certification exam day and I will be away from my computer for about 18 hours and will be entirely unable to do anything about anything.

Oh, no, I'm cool with those dates. I was just matching the tone of your "since I have no choice" comment. I've been pretty badly ill and I regret having to ask for a later date, so being made to feel mean for asking made me feel extra bad.

I'm sorry I've so inconvenienced you.

I'm sorry I sounded short with you. I was genuinely concerned about how we would choose dates and the tone I picked up was "do it my way or I'm going to take my ball and go home" and admittedly I've been up for 52 hours straight at this point and have to deal with a lot of emotional stress and an unexpected 6 hour overnight road trip last night, I'm probably taking things a little too personally. Sundays are best for me, if they work for you and since the 8th is already taken, the 1st and 25th March are the latest we can get. I could potentially also post on a Wednesday, if that's better? peaceful_sands is pretty flexible.

Ugh, no, no, my tone was supposed to be "if it has to be before the 24th it's better to go on without me so not to cause you more stress". It's more important you're happy than my stupid fic goes up, y'know? (I have always been a "if we do it my way I can play ball but if no, please still play ball without me" girl. If you have one writer the show can still go on etc. etc. so if my week-knock-out makes things too stressful, I'm not going to be upset about it. That's what I was saying. I'm sorry it got interpreted wrong.)

A week was all I needed. Whatever's cool with you after that is fine.

Okay, so long as everyone loves each other :D I had a bad dog day, and bad dog days make me pretty insufferable towards non-canines. I reposted our date selection, so I think you have to go okay it again. Stoked to see your fic, no matter when it gets posted.

(PS! Working on getting new hosting for the mix after MU went kaputt. Will let you know when I have something.)

There is looove. I was trying in an inarticulate, I-still-have-a-fever way to say I wasn't going to be a bitch if you had to post in the first week and miss me out.

Also, also, dates can be claimed twice - there's going to be plenty of time to go around.
