Good weekend to see the Sox... THAT'S WHY WE'RE GOING, BITCH! I so can't wait, and I love that it's going to be Ollie's first game. Oh yes, and I will chant "Yankees Suck" with pride.
Been doing a lot of cooking lately, mostly with vegetables from my garden. Zucchini breads, Pesto, Salsa, Eggplant Parm, Sweet Potatoes for the boy (I made baby food!), and one slammin'-ass Roasted Eggplant, Tomato and Pesto Pizza tonight. I do miss cooking every day.
Just call me Mr. Starbucks lately. I finished my coffee passport, and I am officially a learning coach. I am starting my shift supervisor training next week. The DM wants to sit down and have a cup of coffee with me, and apparently all the local bigs say I already seem like I could go far with the company. Now I don't know about that, but it's nice to be doing something new and to be recognized for just being myself. The extra money will be nice, too.
I've been practicing a lot of new arias these days and I'm gearing myself up for auditions. My voice feels good, and my C's are becoming more solid, if only I can get over this cold/allergies thing I got kicking around. I also got my union card in the mail week, so it looks like I'm actually on my way.
