Day 2

We haven't even formally started mob yet, this is all considering part of our 2 weeks annual training so its not all too high speed. Today was a pretty decent day we woke up early to goto CIF(central issue facility). We got a shitload of new gear and a lot of it is pretty cool but odds are we're not suspose to tell people what we got because of opsec(operational security). But I might as well mention the useless shit because I'm pretty sure I'm just gunna mail it home. CIF normally takes hours to go through because of the amount of gear and the sizes to get through but this place was amazingly fast 30-45 min to get though the first half of it, the second part which was uniform issue took a lot longer for some reason.
Black fleece jacket(Black fleece is not allowed anymore starting today go figure)
A camelbak bladder when they container isnt camelback.
A load bearing vest even though all our equipment is attached directly to our body armor.
A pair of gloves made for below freezing temp even though we are going to a desert.
Fire resistant uniforms that aren't so much ACU's(Army combat uniform) as much as ACU pattern flight suits.We got two and they look like maternity uniforms with a velcro belt on the shirt.
2 New pairs of boots.
There is a bunch more useless stuff but really not worth it to explain.
