Another normal, uneventful day has come and gone. The conversations at work are sometimes thought-provoking and enriching, though. Heidi, one of my co-workers, is an amazingly sharp and knowledgeable Christian. We often get into these interesting conversations partly because of her. I really respect her. She was delivered from the “New Age”

Okay, TOTALLY confuzled on the whole infinite thing.....

Yeah, no one will believe me about the different amounts of infinity. :( But, how is that any stranger than different finite quantities? Alas, we're all finite beings that can't understand these things...if they're true at all. =P

Yes, we've got many cool bugs--big and small. Missy probably told you about the black widows (hehe)...

Yeah, it seems to me that the universe could very well be finite, just completely out of our imagination (basically infinite to us). Maybe?

Sounds good to me. I'm all for a finite universe. I was simply using a hypothetical example of an infinite universe to illustrate how there could theoretically be an infinite number of infinite quantities....

My view of the universe is that it "wraps around" if you go far enough--kind of like the surface of the earth. Additionally, I think the universe is so immense that we've not even viewed a fraction of it, yet.
