Dream
Often I don’t remember my dreams at all, but this morning I did. I was trying to sing Edelweiss, for some reason that I’m not sure, and ended up messing up the words some. At the end of the song Julie Andrews’ operatic voice joined in, but I tried to match it with my own (imagined) Pavarotti voice: “...Bless my homeland forever ( Read more... )

What do you mean by Starbucks using money wickedly, just out of curiosity??

whether women should be missionaries.....that's a hard one.....

moment that time is spent primarily selfishly is the moment that time becomes wasted Good point. Lots of times we simply go about our own business and don't pay any attention to the fact that we are living our lives like we own our lives - but we don't. God does.

Oh, as I've been told, Starbucks blatantly supports homosexual perversion. I haven't verified that too well, but I know they have at least given financial support to sodomites (like other large companies, actually).

The question is how can you avoid giving money to companies that use profits for evil things? Should we even try to avoid it? It's not easy for me to answer these questions. Ignorance is "bliss," sometimes, but it's not good to be ignorant, either. I think there's a difference between companies that openly and "proudly" support evil and those who do it more privately. It has to do with our Christian witness, in part.
