I adore little children. They so beautiful and innocent. It amazes me.
Aww... Michaella sounds so cute. =) Is she going to be staying with you all very long?
I know how rewarding it feels to win over a child's affections. It took me months to get Joseph (Judy's four year old brother) to warm up to me. At first he would would hardly smile or talk to me... I had to encourage a whole lot, talk to him a whole lot before he would ever lose a degree of shyness in rare, unguarded moments. =)
It wasn't until several weeks ago that he finally experienced a huge break through when I visited him at his house, and without warning he decided to give me a tour of "his" house. =D By the time our evening was over with literally every other word coming out of his mouth was "Charity". I turned to a melted mess right then and there. =)
Do you want to hear about my worst day at work ever yet? Nah. Do you want to hear about my worst interview ever yet? Nah.
I know how you feel. I never did get around to posting about my bad days at work. Why remember negative thoughts? I figure it's just best to leave well enough alone and let God take care of the problems. =)
Still, a little venting can be good for a person at times. I'm a listening ear if you ever feel like telling about it.
Yeah, a good daddy would do all those things, too, I suppose. =D It seemed strange in a good way for me. I really like interacting with young kids, though I haven't done it much.
They could only stay for the week. The time passed like a blink. Michaella had ups and downs -- moments of being shy and moments of being outgoing. Even up to the end of the visit, she had her shy moods where she would try to hide behind her blanket or "mama." At other times she would want me to walk with her, for example, and get upset if I delayed. =)
Haha. That's a cute story about Judy's brother. Did Judy move away with Keith and others in the family (I assume)?

Right. Good thinking.
You're very kind to offer to share with others' burdens -- though this isn't particularly a burden to me. Thank you. ...Well, things could have been much, much worse. There really is little desire on my part to "vent" when the problems are now put behind me (hopefully with lessons learned). I will say that the interview was short because the interviewer determined in short order that I didn't meet their experience qualifications. God knew it wasn't for me, I'm sure. Now I know, too. =)
Actually, Judy is currently living in Colorado with her married sister Crystal, her sister's husband Paul, and their newborn boy, Dustin. The rest of her family members still reside in Arkansas about thirty miles away from where we live.
You don't feel like a daddy? ;)
