For any of you using the sweet e-mail feature that sends comments, you should know that LJ has been bad recently. Over the last three days, many comments have failed to be sent via e-mail. As a result, several people’s comments were temporarily missed. =/ Just thought everyone should know

I like commenting! Especially when people comment back.

Right, it's somewhat discouraging when people don't respond to comments. You wonder: "Did I say something wrong?" Or, "Did they even read my comment?" =D

Although, when you get two people who always comment on comments you get a bunch of dumb little comments like "lol!" and ":)", and that's all they write.
Well, I would know, I do it all the time, obviously...
;) =)

I'll try not to make this one too dumb. =) At least, I'm not only writing an LOL, but, then, it's mostly vain babbling of a sort (which we need to shun!).
What constitutes vain babbling, I wonder? I really do. =)
Every day we should have new questions, because there's NO END TO THEM!
Okay, shutting up.....

That issue has always puzzled me. Obviously, if I talked less I wouldn't sin with my words as much, but I probably would also cut down on the few and far between good thought that come out.
Do you not like "lol"?
And, rather obviously I have no end of questions... I don't ask many people as many questions as I ask youcause I doubt many of them would have your patience. ;)
Now I'm shutting up!

You've not exasperated me yet (not even remotely :). I'd miss your comments if you stopped writing them -- as I've missed several other people's...
The Bible's statement about sin not being lacking in many words is primarily a warning, I think, to be careful about and watch what we say, because the tongue is a dangerous thing (James). It's definitely not saying that we should act like mutes. We should check our thoughts out before we speak them (if they're worth speaking at all). Probably if we did that more, we'd end up speaking less.

Good, there will ALWAYS be more questions.

Maybe you should speak less, but not me! =P ;) I'm fairly quiet IRL, especially in large group settings. *Blaa* That's going to be the case for the Summer/Ben wedding. I'll have to sharpen my conversationalist tendencies and skills. =)
Some people error on the side of speaking too much, while some people error on the side of speaking too little. I certainly don't know if you speak too much.
Well, we should be "swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath." That implies that we shouldn't be rash in speaking harsh things, but it doesn't imply that we need to be mostly silent. We shouldn't have a habbit of speaking our thoughts as we think them, if that makes sense.
Keep sending the questions! They're fun! =D (Though, you might be better of asking many of these questions of someone else.)

Really? Or are you J/K?
I know I'll have problems. Not because I'm *that* quiet per se, but because I always have trouble feeling accepted, I start thinking that no on ewant to know what I'm thinking, so I just clam up. So if you don't talk that much either, I'll probably laugh at you. Not cause I think it's funny, but because that is my default reaction.
"Though, you might be better of asking many of these questions of someone else" I do. When ethey give me the chance. It is a lot easier over the net though.
