Color theory is a fancy term for knowing which colors will match, clash and mix well depending on their position on a color wheel plotted for the purpose.

May I ask what you need an artist for?

I see. Colorblindness. Hm. A slippery problem; the mind can in some ways be trained to correlate different shades of grey that the brain and eyes fail to pick out as colors, but it is a bit difficult. Still, it can be done. There are accomplished painters that happened to be colorblind.

I am not colourblind! It's not a deficiency. It's not a problem. Don't assume just because I can't see colour that I have no awareness of it.
