[Jane's on deck, looking somewhat annoyed. Which is pretty typical for her.] So, are we quite finished with all the selfish, Worship of the Me displays for the moment? It's so hard to focus when you are all panicked over some Previous dramatics.

I've never seen a Bible called a "rulebook" before, though I guess it's not exactly wrong to see it that way.

There's several other "rulebooks" where I'm from. The Torah, the Koran...probably others I don't know about.

And, really, nobody's perfect. You can have any set of rules and no one will follow all of them 100% of the time. You do the best you can in every situation and hope the decisions you make is the right one.

No, there are always loopholes around any Rule.

The decisions that you make should be Ruleful, though, yes? Because what's the point of having Rules if they aren't "right?"

They should, but sometimes there's a Rule which isn't right. Sometimes, a rule or law is made with the wrong intentions.

I think we've had the discussion about our Rules, haven't we?

If not, just trust that I understand laws and Rules are often not right. Or even logical.

Hey, sometimes it bears repeating.

Aside from that, there are some people who simply live by their own set of rules. And, to be honest, there are times when those people are needed to do the things the rest of us don't want to do, or are unwilling to do.

Hm. What are the consequences for those people?

Really, it all kinda depends on the situation and whose side they're on.

I'm not as bad as I used to be, but I was pretty tame compared to others.

That's a little arrogant to assume.
