This place is weird. I've only been here a day or so, but there's some things you ought to know, and I'd come tell you them in person but you'd throw things this is easier to read later.

I don't have a dead criminal, though. Not yet. But you must not think that this is due to inappropriate behavior on my part. Dr. Rex Lewis has corrected me on the subject of the appropriateness of Independent Kama Sutra Study Day, and I think I will have an inmate very soon now that I have decided not to include it in our weekly schedule.

Does this...Admiral...put conditions on who he gives inmates to? I thought we were all supposed to have them.

And why would a study day be inappropriate?

As for...useful work, I am sure something can be found which needs to be done or overseen. Most Wardens who take jobs are intended to supervise Inmates. May I ask what you did before coming here?

[Hesitantly:] I...worked. I was at a linoleum factory, then I started working in people's homes. I cooked and cleaned, mostly.

I've never supervised anyone before.

Ah. Well, it's not at all difficult to pick up as you go on. The gentleman in charge of maintenance at the moment has been asking for a replacement - that would be very useful work, should you be interested in keeping busy.

May I ask what you mean by 'overhued'? A number of people here use some very colourful language but I suspect that isn't quite what you meant.

And...overhued are people who have a lot of colour perception and act better than everyone else because of it.
