[She'd been checking the mailbox, waiting to see if she got anything back from the town. When finally! It arrives!

It's opened quickly, maybe it was more comic books, or some other cool--her hand touches fabric, and for a moment she's puzzled. She'd gotten her favorite outfit back already, she had her scarf and blazer, what more would they send?

[Canada wanted to come by to drop off her birthday gift he got for her at the same time as America's, but due to Mayfield turning Soviet the next day, he never really had the chance to give her the comic books he got.

He just stands and watches as she tries to stuff the box into the mailbox.]

Um...Meriken...what are you doing?

[She stops what she's doing, and turns to look at him.]

What am I doing? Uh...nothing! I'm not doing anything! Just...sending some mail, yep.

[STEPS AWAY FROM THE MAILBOX. Which...means the box kind of falls out of it, but whatever.]

Right. Well, what are you doing here? Not that I don't mind you visiting, but you know. [Not many people visit nowadays. Derp derp.]

Ah...well...I just though I would get you a gift to considering you're birthday was the 4th right? I'm really sorry for being late on giving it too you.

[He hands her wrapped box. She gets her wish and gets more comic books.]

[She grins at the mention of her birthday, and takes the box eagerly. Something that's not a dumb, colonial dress!]

Thanks! I didn't think you'd remember! [She didn't. Adian 'forgets' her birthday all the time.]

[He just looks down to his side, scratches his neck nonchalantly. Mostly because he secretly wanted to to the exact same thing to America's uniform. He looks back up at her...]

I hope you don't mind me asking...but what was it?

Of course I remembered, I mean why wouldn't I? [He's grown accustomed to remembering America's birthday...even if he keeps 'forgetting' his.]

Oh. Well, Adian usually forgets my birthday. [It's on purpose, Meriken knows it's on purpose. But she forgets Adian's too, so. FFF.]

He was going to get everyone clothes for their birthdays. Meriken was stuck with a nice dress.
