weekend update
i made a last minute trip to fort davis texas.
Traditional catholic wedding in a small mountain town, highlights:
- getting there at 3 am on sat morning and drinking 7 beers before we go to bed.
- waking up sat morning and going to the "grocery store", it was no bigger than a 7-11, and buying breakfast.
- leaving the wedding not really knowing what was going on and going directly to "grocery store" to buy a 12 pack.
- showing up to te reception with beer in hand, while standing in the shady spot by the keg.
- Instead of using our ciesta time for actual napping, sitting in Charmai's car singing along to Counting Crows, drinking Coors, with the car running and the a/c on full blast.
- realizing it's time to go to the "Dance" at the Prude Ranch and runing into the "traffic jam." (to cars sitting and talking to each other, not moving at all.)
- Leaving "The Dance" to go to Grocery Store to buy 32oz and DWI Koozies. to rep the ATX hard as nutz at "The Dance"
- Leaving "The Dance" at 1am to go and sit in Charmai's car at Lillie's house again, and rock out with our cock's out while drinking Coors.
- Charmai passing completely out, then me as well, and Joelle finding us at 3am and making us go inside to sleep.
I met a lot of great people this weekend, i forgot how fun it is to get the fuck out of town every once in a while.
