[The feed clicks on and Yoko blinks her golden eyes a little curiously. She then sets it across from her and giving a quick smile and lets it fade away before speaking. Her normally confident voice sounds a little shaky. Quiet, even.]
Hey…my name’s Yoko. I don’t know exactly what’s going on or…if anyone can even hear me on this… If someone has some

My name is Unohana Retsu. If you'd like, you can come to my Clinic and have some tea and something to eat. You can think about what you'd like to do once you have more information about this place.

Once you have rested a little, I can explain how the device works and you can examine your options as far as living here goes. How does that sound?

I can't stay for too long, though.

[Unohana is on the way ... and she appears out of thin air with a sort of static sound less than thirty seconds later.]

How did you-- ?
[She drops the question with a sigh, adjusting the strap to her rifle.]
The clinic. It's very kind of you but...I'd like to get a look around on my own once I get a better understanding of the place. I don't think this place as a whole is really optional. Unless...it is?

That is fine. But first, let's get you some food and a place to rest.
We are going to walk back, if you do not mind.

Walking is fine. I prefer it, actually.

[Unohana starts walking.]
This world was created by a failed science experiment. We do not really know what the purpose was, but it disrupted time and space and creted this sort of ... pocket where dimensions of all sorts collided. This apparently results in people being pulled randomly from their worlds and into this dimension, although it appears no one home realizes that they are gone. This had led us to speculate that whoever disappears from here is returned to exactly the same moment in time they were taken from.

But it's a lot to take in. And none of it adds up right - but that's to be expected. It makes her frown, and the sudden separation from everyone at home, on top of Kamina just dying what seemed like moments ago, crushes her. Tears glisten but she blinks them away. Nodding.]
...I see.
[She kind of gets it.]

The world here is subject to constant change at the whims of the Animus, and it can be quite dangerous, but the people are are mostly helpful and kind. They will help you out.
[Unohana's presence is both warm and calm. If she knew the girl better, she might have offered a hug, but as it is, she just flares her reiatsu a little, the warmth of it exuding from her body and outwards.]

[She blinks at the feeling, but it does comfort her. Smiling faintly, she wipes her eyes and sniffles. A strange but reassuring gesture, that's what she would take it as.]
Sorry.

[They soon arrive next to a long, one story building sproting a sign in its front 'lawn' that says 'Natural Health Clinic'. Unohana leads the way up the porch stairs and opens the door.]

[She silently follows.]

There is a wide living area/kitchen combination, with wooden furniture. The stove has been transformed a little, for reasons that become apparent as Unohana starts putting wood in it to light a fire. A door to the left is open and leads into a medical ward. A corridor on the right opensonto many rooms, most of which appear to be unoccupied.]
Make yourself comfortable, Yoko-san.

I don't know how I can repay you for this.
