Pro Green and Millie Mack recreate John Lennon and Yoko Ono’s iconic Bed-In picture
Professor Green and Millie Mackintosh have recreated an iconic photograph of Beatles’ legend John Lennon and his wife, Yoko Ono.
Posing in bed, surrounded by flowers, the couple, who married last September in Bath, seem to be enjoying their afternoon in bed.
Ex-Made In Chelsea star, Millie, 24, and 30-year-old Pro Green (real name Stephen Manderson), who recently said: “We choose not to live our relationship in the public eye,” were recreating the famous 1969 ‘Bed-ins for Peace’.
John and Yoko spent their honeymoon in an Amsterdam hotel room, with the world’s press watching, to promote peace and protest the Vietnam War.
We’re not sure how to feel about a guy whose song I Need You Tonight, includes lyrics like: "This lady is driving me crazy, she blows hot and cold like the AC", comparing himself to Lennon, but it’s all for a good cause.
The stunt was to celebrate the launch of the Come Together t-shirt, which goes on sale in high street chain River Island to help raise funds and awareness for War Child, a charity that protects children living in war zones.
