That's... oddly adorable ^^ Dallas was bad (or at least now it seems bad, I think that back in the days it was quite a new and thrilling type of show) but the thought of George being such a little groupie is cute ^^ We could put this in our story, at some point!

I was thinking the same thing about putting it in our story! "Shh, not now, John! Dallas is on and someone just shot J.R.!" I just love hearing cute things like this about The Beatles.

yep! That's be so cute. John could even get him a "Who hot J.R.?" T-shirt, apparently they were pretty popular in the early 80s ^^

That's be great! Depending on when J.R. was shot. We could work it into our story.

Very cute. Innit? George Harrison was a Dallas fan. Who would've thunk it, eh? Too bad The Beatles never made a western. George really could work that cowboy look!

I knew Paul had been offered a role in Dallas and had turned it down, but I had no idea George was a fan! That's adorable.

*imagines George having a "who shot J.R.?" debate*

Get out! Paul turned down a role in Dallas? I wonder if this was at the beginning of the series. Could you imagine Paul running around Dallas, trying to fake an american accent? He could put one on, but I wonder if he could do a 'serious' accent. Paul sure did get offered a lot of roles didn't he? I always wish he would've taken the role of Romeo. Ha. Now, that would've been funny, but I guess common sense took the place ego that day. Poor, George, though. A true Dallas fan, and was probably never offered a role.

No, he'd been a British rancher emigrated to Texas, and I think it was during the 80s when he wasn't touring. However, he declined on account of his kids (all in school in Britain) and long extended absence from them this would have meant. Well, that was Paul's excuse. *g* Personally, I suspect it was this plus awareness he can't act to save his life, which is why he turned down Zeffirelli when Franco Z. offered him Romeo, too. Paul is my favourite Beatle, and he is incredibly talented in may areas, but acting isn't one of them, and there is a reason he has the least amount of lines in AHDN and Help. :)

And yes, once again, poor George. Let's hope Paul spared his feelings and never told him.

Pretty funny, isn't it? George being all grouchy about being called during one of his favorite shows.
