Madame Tussauds Celebrates The Beatles' 'Please Please Me' With New D.C. Exhibit
The Beatles released their first LP, "Please Please Me,” 50 years ago. To celebrate this monumental anniversary, Madame Tussauds in Washington D.C. is about to debut a new Beatles exhibit.
Along with rare Fab Four memorabilia from the Mansion on O like the Rock-Ola Yellow Submarine Jukebox (currently on eBay for a mere $15,999), 1960s Beatles bobble heads and 1964 Topps Beatles black and white trading cards, visitors will have a change to take a peek at wax figures of George, John, Paul and Ringo.
The statues will be unveiled on Wednesday morning and on display at the museum through August. If you'd rather see a Beatle in real life, Paul McCartney headlines night two of Bonnaroo on Friday, June 14 in Manchester, Tennessee. Macca brings his "Out There" tour to Nationals Park on Friday, July 12.
