Members Only: 1964 The Tribute Pictures and Videos

Oct 14, 2012 12:24

I finally saw The Beatles. Well, not the real Beatles but an excellent tribute band. I especially enjoyed their Paul who really seemed to have a younger version of Macca down maybe a bit over the top at times.

Their banter between songs with each other and their audience interaction was also fun. The auditorium where they performed was only half full. People stayed in their seats and only stood up when of the Beatles would ask them to for a song (Twist and Shout, Daytripper and the encore medley).

Not all of the songs where from 1964 and ranged from before and to 64' up to 66'. Their set only lasted around and hour and forty-five minutes or so. They did a set of songs for about an hour, had an intermission and then came back for about half an hour to perform and then came back again and did an encore.

Since there weren't a lot of people in the audience I went from third row center to first row center because I knew someone who was sitting up front. She told me that the seats had been reserved for the local paper but no one showed up and I was able to get closer and take pictures and video. I played around with the pictures in photobucket. I hope you'll like them.
