blah blah blah
It was a valiant attempt to go out, but getting out of work at 12:45 am on a friday night and your friends are already saying the bar scene is weakening, and you smell like restaurant so you've gotta jump in the shower anyway- well,that sucks. But I tried my best and met up with jared&bongman at a party by sorority row- we smoked in an alley behind the house, holding our cups of beer. Yeah, it was fairly shady, but we mingled, and it wasn't as shady as some of the people. Crowdwatching was the highlight of the night- there was drama with 2 groups of guys and we were watching it like it was cable. But the keg got tapped soon enough, so that was that and it was back here for a blunt.
And somehow, we got up by.. well, 11, which isn;t that early at all, but when you went to bed at five it's still slightly painful. But we did it, and got our gators gear on, and headed out to the Orange&Blue game. I love game days- everyone out on the streets walking to the stadium, all the carts of merchandise that appear along university for a few hours. yelling orange and blue, though, was more fun in theory. lol. This game was pretty fun. halftime was a dog show so that was kind of weak, and I got a nice burn on my shoulders... yeah... not so cool. But I didn;t care, because it was a really nice day out, perfectly sunny with a breeze. And the game was good- there were some pretty nice plays and everyone was pretty pumped about seeing meyers coach. There were a couple of nice touchdowns, too.
Getting home was an adventure in that traffic, of course... but then I went to work and time passed fairly quickly until 11:30ish. pierce and i met up with sean and everyone at a party for a while, then we went over to paul's to smoke, & eventually made it back home. This morning we all had to get up early, the boys were in a dodgeball tournament they've been practicing for all week (by playing for a few hours, and watching a whole lot of their Dodgeball dvd) and I had to work. All day. 10, to 4:30.. and it was nice out and it was busy. it was HARD. i came home and vegged for hours.
I'm about to go to outback, though. cheese fries? yum.
