well hello!
on this, the day before the day of St. Valentine, i would like to profess my feelings about this holiday. I FUCKING HATE IT! what is the point? it is true that St. Valentine was a true person, but did he go around every year looking for someone to share his love with? somehow i doubt it. St. Valentine was killed because he refused to give up his christian faith. at the time that he lived, punishment for being christian was beheading. yes, thats right, because he didn't want to give up his faith, they took him to the guillotine. to me, this sounds like a much better idea...LETS ALL GO CUT SOMEONE'S HEAD OFF instead of all this cupid and love shit...it would really make more sense if you think about it.
well, if you couldn't already tell, i've not had that many good V-days, and if they were...they didn't end that way. so, i guess you could say i'm bitter, but i like to refer to it as REALITY. really, nothing changes during the valentine season, i blame halmark for all that false feeling of "extra love" that appears during february.
