bookshelf progress kinda
Well, I've hurt my back, so the going is super slow right now. but here's what I've got. I baked the back of my book case, cooled it, sanded it, and then baked the right and left sides, cooled and sanded them.
then tried to stick them on. knowing that I will be baking this many more times, I didn't want to whip out the super glue just yet, so I used liquid translucent clay, which works like glue-more or less. Usually less.
Getting both sides on at the same time and propped just so to withstand 30 minutes in the oven was too much to ask for. In a few minutes I'll tackle the other side. Apparently I'll be doing a LOT of heavy sanding, too, because this sucker is crooked.
Thank goodness for my Dremel.
