DAMN DAMN DAMN NOOOOO FUCK YOU GAME. FUCK YOU WITH A MANTICORE.

YOU JUST KILLED MY MACLOUGHLINS AND WEASLEYS. And none of the sim2pack files will wooork, even with the CleanInstaller.

Welp, thurr goes my revival of those two families. Damn. I suppose every legacy writer has one or two legacy families that failed, right?

You guys are so awesome! Thank you soo much. I hope my computer lets me. Both of you try uploading it, and hopefully Sims2 installer won't go all BLAH BLAH EXPANSION DATA REQUIRED- wtf? CleanInstaller's just not even opening anymore. I'll try reinstalling that.

I got to generation eight! I'm really proud. The pictures were killed too, though. My little sister was playing with my Photoshop because she's stupid and she fucking DELETED THE PICTURES. Maybe I have a zip file of them somewhere; that wouldn't surprise me, because I'm paranoid and shit.

Try uploading Eve! I'll see if my computer lets me. It looks like I'm going to have to reinstall, so I'm copying my Downloads folder now.

If I could just have Eve, I'd be, like, the happiest girl ever. Is it sad that I cried a little bit? I was just like NOO NOOO MACLOUGHLIIIINSSS NOOO. Because I love the Weasleys and all, but the Macs! I've played them since August. I haven't updated either family in ages just because I haven't had time, but I've been playing. And now it's all gone.

I completely understand. I almost cried when I lost Alma's grave. You played the Macs until generation eight, I would have had screamed and start fighting with people just for looking at me. WHY DO PEOPLE LOOK AT YOU WHEN YOU'RE ANGRY? (Alright. This got a little off topic :P)

I'm about to uninstall and reinstall. Except I CAN'T FIND MY NIGHTLIFE SERIAL CODE SHIT. Where's the packet? Seasons and the base game are what matter most, but I want Nightlife, too! Hm. Mad search time! Why didn't I register Nightlife at EA? I only bothered with the base game and Uni.

I finally found the Nightlife book, so I just made a document saving all of my serial codes. I'll register them...sometime.

Ok, so I know you found the NL book, but just in case you are like me and lose things even when they are backed up a million time this is how you 'refind' the codes (and there's nothing illegal involved!)

"Start menu - run - type in 'regedit' - go down to EA Games - it'll be under the EP, crng (or something like that - not at home to check exactly what it says) your registration code should be in there."

There is a way to retrieve it off your computer! *rifles through bookmarks* NOOO!!! It was one that firefox ate. I'll try and find it!
