watch me get down with my bad self
So today was way more productive than I originally intended/planned. I had planned to sleep in as late as possible because opening is kicking my ass and today was my only day to do it.
My body, however, said, 'fuck that, you got shit to do' and had me awake at 9.
So, I did shit. Adult type responsible shit.
I went to the bank, I stopped by the store for things like shampoo and such, I did laundry and cleaned the kitchen, and while at Walmart I got the bonus of picking up my B-day present from my dad that finally showed up.
Iron Man 2, the super-shiny-kick-ass-edition! It's the Blue-ray, DVD, digital copy smorgasbord madness that I totally wanted. BWEEE!
I checked on my health insurance and it looks like the raise in the premium cost won't be as bad as I feared. Phew.
The only hitch in my day was when I checked out my statements and realized I got a late fee. GAAAH! It's totally my first one ever, and I might've panicked and flailed and FREAKED THE FUCK OUT for a bit.
What happened was I have my bank set up to make automatic payments out of every paycheck that gets deposited. Each is a little over half the payment, so that together they pay more than the minimum. The only problem was, my second payment posted a day late.
I was totally nervous, fingers crossed 'oh please, oh please' when I called the bank on the phone because it was for a credit card that I have a sweet balance transfer rate on. I wasn't worried so much about the fee as I was losing the low interest rate.
The lady I spoke with was nice. I wasn't my most articulate as I nervously tried to get out why I was calling, and she offered to wave the fee right away. I didn't even ask. Heh. I asked about the interest and she said I was fine, it would only go up if I was 60+ days late so it's all good.
After I hung up I totally changed my automatic payment schedule online to keep it from happening again.
Then I got through more of Harry Potter, which I'm watching to keep a promise to a friend so I can go with him on Saturday to see the newest. I have one more to watch and then I'm set.

I also did some work on what I've dubbed "Plan-B" (with air finger quotes) and hopefully that'll go well. It's all quite top-secret, to know you must be killed type stuff, but I'll put in updates to keep anyone who cares semi-posted and to help build my own confidence along the way until I can actually reveal what it is I'm up to.
