[Linear had calmed down since she posted to the network, but she still hadn't left her corner. She sat on her knees, hugging a frying pan from one of the cabinets to her chest.]

[ With the power out, it took Hayner a few minutes to scale down the stairs safely from his room. Keeping his eyes closed to not let the ghosts startle him, he let his memory guide him in the right direction, hands out in front and sliding along the walls as he made his way towards the kitchen.

Once he reached the door frame, he stopped and opened his eyes, waiting for them to adjust to the darkness. ]

[Linear blinked up at him. She'd already been in the dark for a while, so she could at least make out his outline at the door. She stood, nodding at her name, all the while hugging the pan to her chest.]

Your name is... Hayner?

I'm all right! So, let's go to a different room. Maybe they won't appear as frequent if there's people together?
