defeat and a small triumph
so i auditioned for the asu music program as a string bass performance major. i played pretty well but then the professor called and said "i dont like your left hand technique so baisically fuck off". heartbreak. now i have an audition with the jazz guy there and he already likes me so i hope that works out. my fingers are crossed.
so i lost my zippo. it was the special one with my bands name engraved on it in olde english. its way sweet. i knew i was at jeffs house so i asked him to look for it to no avail. i couldnt remember who gave me a ride home that night and i asked everyone. today i was sitting on the floor and in the port on my bass amp i saw a pack of ciggarettes in there. they were turkish royals. i was smokin turkish royals the night i lost my zippo. i had one and then i came back and looked in there and found my zippo. i was elated and raised my fist into the air and shouted an exuberent "YES!"
