Random thoughts
* The new default comment layout is weird.
* Netflix will be the death of me.
* Whenever I get into a new fandom, I check the listings on AO3 to see what kind of fic is out there. Bones... apparently has a bunch of Buffy crossovers, which, obviously easy to see why, and yet. Really? *facepalm*
* Season 4 of Bones is literally like someone printed a list of crackfic plots and decided to do it for real. They go undercover in a circus and Booth throws knives! Booth plays hockey and sees Luc Robitaille in a hallucination! They go to "Imagicon" and meet a bunch of nerds dressed up as medieval knights! A death metal band is using a real human skeleton as a prop! Booth belts out into song at a funeral! Japanese girl gets killed wearing a creepy anime mask! (Also Japanese people bow 10 times during a conversation and Americans can't tell Asians apart - or even if they're male or female!) It's still entertaining because the cast is still charming as hell, but the writing quality was much better in seasons 1 and 2. Sigh.
* Seriously, all the vaguely Japanese-themed music in the background of this episode is creeping me out.
* And apropos of nothing, Patriots going to the Superbowl! I am calling it.
