God help me I think I'm starting to LIKE Idina Menzel. *facepalm*
Not her voice. Just, you know. She's kinda hot. As Maureen. (Yes, Beth, I know. But I think she actually fits Maureen a lot better than Elphaba.)
But apparently I got super lucky when I went to watch Wicked without knowing any of the actors and got to see Louise Dearman and Nikki Davis Jones because after several hours of watching video, I've come to the conclusion that Dearman is the most hilarious Glinda and Jones is either the best or second best Elphaba depending on how you look at it.
And to think, my brother wanted to see Les Mis and we only watched Wicked because Les Mis was sold out and we'd watched The Lion King already. ;) I mean, I love Les Mis to death (still the best musical in the history of ever) but it's not something I'd ever be FANNISH about... so clearly fate is conspiring to screw me over by giving me a dead fandom.
