My day off on Monday felt more productive than normal. I took a long walk to the reservoir and skinny dipped by myself. I picked a bag full of mulberries. I picked a ton of chamomile and pineapple weed to dry for teas. I went swimming again at a pond and skinny dipped not by myself and it was the most refreshing thing.
I've been having such satisfying meals lately.
Lettuce smoothies and peanut butter toast with banana jam for breakfast. Lunch involving garlic scapes or kale or spinach or day-lily buds or other foraged things and a dessert of yogurt with mulberries, blueberries, sunflower seeds, walnuts, and honey for dessert. I'm settling these healthy routines quite well.
Yesterday I spent a considerable amount of time squishing potato beetles and got bug juice in my eye. It stung so bad and I had to wash it out. I also pulled out some tiny bug guts.
I would like to eat some mushrooms in my dinner tonight. Maybe on a pizza. I will go scrounge for leftovers in the kitchen now.
