Recording a single
On Friday we re-recorded "She Went & Joined A Cult". This version is less manic, and has a great pop feel to it. I'm really happy with it, it is definitive. I'm even happier that Glenn and Tim really like the new version. All that needs doing is the vocals and one marimba/keyboard overdub. We'll do this as soon as Al finishes uni for the semester.
On the weekend I worked on the MIDI files for our live recording. They are nearly done, I'm just mixing and printing the last few songs now. Still have other music stuff to do for Kara's dance eisteddfod's this weekend.
People at church have been told that Al and I are leading one of the worship bands. They seem nonplussed over the whole thing, neither aghast nor excited. We'll find out what it's like this Thursday, when we meet for our first practice.
